My first memory of Louis Louw was during the 1970’s at Western Apostolic Bible College (WABC). The students were seated in the church sanctuary located on Cherokee Road in Stockton and the minister speaking made the comment, “Birds of a feather…” and Louis finished the sentence by saying out loud, “flock together!” Louis had a wonderful way of bringing excitement into the room and was truly a wonderful relationship builder. In 1974, his wife, Rosemary, and I graduated from WABC with a total of 22 graduates. It was my pleasure to get to know them as a married couple. I extend my greatest condolences to Rosemary and the family and look forward to seeing him again.

To my great and awesome friend. Thank you so much for always sharing your stories. I would never forget that smile from cheek to cheek greeting me and say welcome friend. Your endless stories and encouragement to me I will never forget. The school cafeteria will definitely be different without you. You’ve been an impact in my life to keep on going and reaching the lost. The payday some day preaching you told me is forever deep in my heart! Thank you so much Bro.Louw I will miss you deeply!

My first time ever meeting Bro: Louw was in the school cafeteria. I always saw him talking to the college students, making them laugh, and telling them such incredible stories about his mission trips in Africa. I remember speaking to him for the first time and thinking to myself this is the most awesome person I have ever met. From that day on, I knew Bro: louw never met a stranger. And never made you feel like one.

Honored to be at the memorial to hear the full account of this blessed life! We were classmates at WABC in the 70s and I have admired the wonderful work of Louis and Rosemary Louw through the years. Their children and grandchildren carry on the legacy of their dedicated service. - We hold on to this promise, “Be faithful unto death and I will give you a crown of life!”

From the first meeting as a roommate at WABC in 1974...until our last phone visit and prayer a few of weeks ago...every occasion was one of good cheer and genuine friendship... priceless!

Elder Louw was a true man of God in every sense of the word, from his ministry to how he took care of his wife, raised his children and treated others. God rest his soul and may he find peace in the everlasting arms of our Father. We're thankful for his life and celebrate that he has gone on to receive his reward.

Will always remember Bro Louw as a gentle giant. Many memories made with his family growing up in South Africa and those memories will always be cherished. Gone but never forgotten. See you again one day. Love to Sis Louw, Bethany, Jonathan and their families.
